Duties and Responsibilities:
•Take patient vital signs, draw blood, monitor patient charts and assess patient needs.
•Respond to patient questions and provide health care information.
•Assist provider with on-site procedures.
•Return patient phone calls; schedule appointments.
•Follow up with patients regarding abnormal lab results and schedule appointments with specialists.
•Add codes to medical charts, correct incorrect or incomplete codes for insurance; assure accuracy of patient file.
•Pull charts for provider review.
•Collect reports on procedures/labs conducted by hospitals and other providers.
•Arrange for sufficient and appropriate supplies in exam rooms.
•Assist at front desk as needed.
